Walk to end homelessness steps off Nov. 7

Registration is ongoing for the third annual walk to raise awareness and money to end homelessness in the Islands."Walk the Talk Shelter the People" starts Nov. 7 at the state Capitol. Participants can join in on one or more legs of the around-the-island walk, which is set to finish Nov. 16.
Registration costs $20 for adults for the first day, and $10 for each additional day. Children ages 10 to 15 pay $10 for the first day and $5 for each additional day. The fees cover a T-shirt, goodie bag, refreshments, lunch and dinner.
Participants are also encouraged to raise money for the event.
