Repairs to hinder Moanalua Freeway traffic

The Aiea Access Road loop on-ramp to the Moanalua Freeway (east-bound) will be closed at various times this week for road surface repairs, guardrail replacements and lane striping, the state Department of Transportation said.The on-ramp will be closed tonight and tomorrow night, from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. The on-ramp will also be closed during the day on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The department advises motorists to use the Moanalua Freeway on-ramp (east-bound) from Kahuapa'ani Street as an alternative route.
