Nanakuli school fire deliberately set

Police are investigating a fire last night at Nanakuli High & Intermediate School which caused $300,000 in damages as an arson.

The fire was reported at 10:17 p.m. and extinguished at 11 p.m., police said.

The fire started in the administrative office and spread to other offices, police said.

Offices used for accounting services and a vice principal were damaged by the fire while others sustained heavy water damage.

The telephone lines at the school were down all day but the damage did not disrupt scheduled classes.

No one has been arrested.
