Preps: Roosevelt wins toss, faces Waipahu in football

Roosevelt won a coin toss this afternoon to break a tie for third place in the O'ahu Interscholastic Association White Conference football final standings.

The Rough Riders (5-2-1) will play at No. 2 seed Waipahu (7-2 overall) in a White Conference semifinal on Nov. 2. In the other semifinal that same night, No. 1 seed Kaimuki (8-1) will face Pearl City (5-2-2) at Kaiser Stadium.

Roosevelt and Pearl City finished tied for third with 5-2-1 records in the White.
