Around-the-island walk to raise funds for homeless

Hawaii Helping the Hungry Have Hope will hold its third annual Walk the Talk — Shelter the People, a 10-day, 140-mile walk around the island Nov. 7-16.Group founder Utu Langi leads the walk, which kicks off at 6 a.m. Nov. 7. The event raises funds for homeless issues and includes evenings "talk story" sessions at 10 area churches.
