Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii and the local branch of Ryukoku University Alumni Association present a free lecture by Dosho Wakahara, the president of Ryukoku University in Kyoto, Japan, on "Buddhist Culture and Social Welfare."The lecture will be 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Buddhist Study Center, 1436 University Ave.
Lunch will be $7.
