Nona Beamer joins Leslie Wilcox on PBS tonight

Aunty Nona Beamer, noted songwriter, hula teacher and Hawaiian cultural authority, will be the second guest on PBS Hawai'i's new locally produced show, "Long Story Short With Leslie Wilcox."The in-depth interview will air at 7:30 p.m. tonight on PBS Hawai'i, Oceanic Cable Channel 10.
"Aunty Nona is a cultural icon and her story is truly remarkable and unmistakably Hawaiian," Wilcox said. "It's only appropriate that we help share the story of a woman who has worked tirelessly to perpetuate and preserve Hawaiian cultural traditions."
