McKinley holds recycling event

McKinley High School will accept recyclables, from newspapers to scrap metal to tires, at a community cleanup project Nov. 10.

Residents can drop off items between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the high school parking lot on Pensacola Street.

The school will accept documents for shredding, spare parts, beverage containers, car batteries, cell phones, computers and more.

No paint, hazardous fluids, microwave ovens, televisions, cars or gas tanks will be accepted.
