Wind advisory issued for Haleakala summit

A wind advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for the Haleakala Summit on Maui until 6 p.m. today.East winds were expected to increase to 25 to 35 mph over night and continue through today.
Wind advisories are issued when winds are expected to reach 30 to 39 mph.
