NFL: Miami LB Thomas may not make London trip

"There's potential for whiplash and that is what we're looking into, to my knowledge," Miami coach Cam Cameron said.
Thomas and his wife were leaving the Dolphins' 49-28 loss to the New England Patriots last weekend when their vehicle was rear-ended on the turnpike. They were unhurt at the time, although Thomas, who missed two consecutive games this season because of a concussion, was tested for the injury today.
"Ironically, I drove right by that when it happened," Cameron said. "I was pulling by and my son said, 'Dad, that's Zach.' "
A Florida Highway Patrol report on the crash was not available yet, an FHP spokesman said today.
The 0-7 Dolphins leave tomorrow for Sunday's game against the New York Giants in London the first regular season NFL game outside North America.
Thomas' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, did not immediately return a message left at his office today.
Miami's season has been hampered by a string of injuries to key players.
A torn ACL ended running back Ronnie Brown's strong season earlier this week. The Dolphins also placed quarterback Trent Green on injured reserve Saturday and announced Monday that safety Renaldo Hill's season was over because of a torn knee ligament.
Safety Yeremiah Bell had a season-ending injury to his Achilles' tendon in the opener and defensive tackle Vonnie Holliday is nursing an ankle injury.
Tight end David Martin did not practice today and defensive tackle Keith Traylor was not on the field at the Dolphins' training facility.
