Award-winning flutist at HPR's Atherton studio Nov. 10

Award-winning flutist and composer Suzanne Teng will perform at Hawaii Public Radio's Atherton Performing Arts Studio on Nov. 10.Teng is the 2006 winner of the International Acoustic Music Award honor of best world music artist. She will be performing with her band Mystic Journey string bassist Barry Newton and multi-instrumentalist Dann M. Torres.
In performance and on recordings, Teng plays C flute, alto, bass and contrabass flutes, piccolo and a collection of wind instruments procured from around the world.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. performance are $20 general admission, $17.50 for Hawaii Public Radio members and $10 for students.
