The Willows to host five-course beer dinner on Friday

The Willows restaurant will be hosting a Boston Beer Company and Samuel Adams five-course dinner with beer pairings on Friday.

Designed by The Willows executive chef Jay Matsukawa and local beer expert Andy Baker, the menu includes:

First course: calamari frito and Parmigiano-Reggiano salad paired with Samuel Adams Light

Second course: pan-roasted duck and cranberry gastrique paird with Boston Lager

Third course: seafood and chorizo paella paired with brown ale

Fourth course: Wagyu beef pot roast paired with black lager

Dessert: macerated berries and vanilla sabayon "smore" paired with honey porter

Samuel Adams Utopia — a beer that retails for up to $200 per bottle — will also be sampled.

Cost per person is $65 for the general public and $55 for members of The Willows Beer Club. For reservations or more information, call 952-9200.
