Kalaupapa author appears on Oahu, Big Island in Nov.

Writer Sally-Jo Bowman will be in Hawai'i for a series of presentations and workshops for her book, "No Footprints in the Sand: A Memoir of Kalaupapa," which she co-authored with Henry Nalaielua.
The book is Nalaielua's life story, chronicling his experiences from his childhood when he was diagnosed in 1936 at age 10 with Hansen's disease (then called leprosy) to his days at Kalaupapa.
