Hard Rock hosts breast cancer benefits this weekend

Advertiser Staff

Hard Rock Cafe's in Honolulu and Maui will host "Women in Rock" benefit concerts for breast cancer tonight and Saturday.

The concerts — featuring female Jawaiian and rock trio Mighty J — are fundraisers for breast cancer research and awareness.

Attendees will be able to enter a drawing to win an Ovation guitar, with proceeds going to the Pacific Cancer Foundation and the Honolulu chapter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The concerts are part of Hard Rock International's month-long "Rocktober" campaign spotlighting breast cancer.

"Women in Rock" happens at the Maui Hard Rock Cafe in Lahaina tonight at 10 p.m., and Saturday at the Honolulu Hard Rock Cafe, also at 10 p.m.

Pre-sale tickets are $15; $20 at the door.
