UH women fall to Utah State, 3-2, in soccer

The University of Hawaii women's soccer team rallied from a two-goal deficit, but fell to host Utah State, 3-2, today for its first Western Athletic Conference defeat of the season.After trailing 2-0 at intermission, the Rainbow Wahine scored twice in the first 12 minutes of the second half on goals by Ambree Ako and Tehane Higa. It was Ako's ninth goal of the season.
Abby Hunt scored twice for the Aggies (7-10, 3-2 WAC), including the game-winner late in the second half.
Hawaii is 10-4-2 and 3-1 and will play at Louisiana Tech Sunday.
