Pet blessing set for Sunday at Kawaiahao Church School

From 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, the Kawaiaha'o Church School grounds will be open to all manner of creatures for the first annual "Bless the Beasts and the Children" open house. Community members are invited to bring their animal loved ones to the school to receive free health checks and care tips from Dr. Brian Walsh DVM from Feather & Fur Clinic and Dr. Leiann Lee Loy DVM from VCA University Animal Hospital who are donating their time.Additionally, community and Kawaiaha'o Church clergy will be on hand to bless these precious pets.
'Ohana are also invited to enjoy the free petting zoo as well as tour the school's classrooms to learn more about Kawaiaha'o's Montessori program.
