Mules sweep OIA cross country titles, Keith defends

The Leilehua boys and girls cross country teams repeated as O'ahu Interscholastic Association team champions at this afternoon's league championships at Patsy T. Mink Central O'ahu Regional Park.

Bryce Jenkins repeated as boys individual champion, leading the Mules to its third straight team title with 26 points. Radford was second with 117.

Jenkins led from start to finish on the 3-mile course, finishing in 16 minutes, 14.49 seconds. He's also the defending state champion.

In the girls race, Mililani sophomore Kristin Ali Keith repeated as girls individual champion, finishing the 3-mile race in 19:58.00.

The Leilehua girls won their second straight team title with 36 points. Mililani was second with 67.

The top 65 boys and girls finishers qualified for Friday's state championships on Maui.
