Mighty fine weather on tap for today

A high pressure area north of the Islands will keep the trade winds blowing through next Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.The winds will remain locally breezy most of the time but may taper off a bit on Tuesday, forecasters said.
The atmosphere is expected to remain fairly dry for the next several days, so no heavy rainfall is expected.
There may be a more significant change in the weather later in the approaching new week as a front approaches from the northwest bringing unsettled weather.
