It's the final weekend of the Louis Vuitton Hawaii International Film Festival in Honolulu. The updated schedule is posted at www.hiff.org; all remaining films will be screened at the Regal Dole Cannery theater complex.

The films encompass a variety of countries and themes. Such as:

  • "Still Life," from China and Hong Kong, about a town on the Yangtze River that is soon to disappear. 1:30 p.m. today.

  • "Tokyo Tower: Mom and Me, and Sometimes Dad," Japan, a heart-tugger about a selfish young man and his supportive mother. 4:15 p.m. today.

  • "Wonders Are Many: The Making of 'Doctor Atomic,' " USA, a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of an opera about J. Robert Oppenheimer. 4:45 p.m. today.

  • "Under the Same Moon," USA and Mexico, the tale of a Mexican boy who's separated from his mother, an illegal immigrant worker in the United States. 1 p.m. tomorrow.
