Advertiser Staff

Honolulu's Parker McLachlin shot 1-under-par 72 in today's final round and finished at 11-under par 281 in the Ginn sur Mer Classic at Tesoro in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

McLachlin is tied for 14th, seven strokes behind the leaders, Shigeki Maruyama, Fredrik Jacobson and Daniel Chopra, who will finish their rounds tomorrow after play was called off because of darkness today. Three other golfers also will finish their rounds tomorrow.

McLachlin, a PGA Tour rookie, is trying to boost his earnings in order to keep his PGA card for next season. He is ranked No. 143 on the money list; the top 125 automatically qualify for next season. The final tournament of this season is next week.
