UH: Women's athletic pioneer sculpture unveiled today

A sculpture of Donnis Thompson, pioneer for UH women's athletics, will be dedicated and unveiled 4 p.m. today on the Stan Sheriff Center's makai concourse.Speakers include UH Manoa Chancellor Virginia Hinshaw, Athletics Director Herman Frazier, and Vivian Aiona, representing the Governor's office.
There will also be an on-court ceremony prior to the women's volleyball match against Louisiana Tech at 5 p.m.
