Light the Night Spectacular at the Botanical Cactus Garden of the Ethel M Chocolate Factory features 350 different species of cacti and desert plants, lit up with holiday cheer and lights. In Shark Reef at the Mandalay Bay are more than 16 shark species as well as sawfish, giant rays, green sea turtles, piranha, moon jellies and rare golden crocodiles. More than 2,000 animals swim in the aquarium, on view from the Treasure Bay tunnel.

Rated by Zagat Survey U.S. Family Travel guide as a top attraction in Las Vegas, Shark Reef is open 10 a.m.-11 p.m. daily. Last admission at 10 p.m. Admission: adults $15.95, ages 12 and younger $10.95, ages 4 and younger free.
