Hawaii stock index rises, helped by CPF, Hoku

The Bloomberg-Honolulu Advertiser Hawai'i Index rose, led by Central Pacific Financial.The 11-member stock index climbed 0.18 points to 98.71 as four sssues gained, six fell and one remained unchanged.
Central Pacific climbed 52 cents, or 2.2 percent, to $23.92.
Hoku Scientific's shares rose 4.1 percent, or 36 cents, to $9.07.
