Superferry T-shirt proceeds go to furloughed workers

Advertiser Staff

Hawaii Superferry employees and families are selling "Support Hawaii Superferry" T-shirts with proceeds going to the workers who have been furloughed while the fate of the embattled catamaran is being determined.

Today, from 11 to noon, employees were fulfilling advance orders for the T-shirts at Honolulu Ferry Terminal Pier 19, where the ship is docked.

T-shirt sales began last week as a fundraiser to help employees and their families who have been affected by the furlough. Shirts are $20 and still available for purchase at www.HawaiiSuperferry.com. All profits go to furloughed Hawaii Superferry employees and their families.
