NBA: Wesley returns to Nets in trade with Hornets

Associated Press

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New Jersey Nets reacquired guard David Wesley from the New Orleans Hornets for swingman Bernard Robinson, center Mile Ilic and cash considerations.

"This transaction provides the Nets with roster flexibility for the upcoming season," president Rod Thorn said.

Wesley has averaged 12.5 points and 4.4 assists during 14 seasons in the NBA, including the 1993-94 campaign with the Nets.

Robinson appeared in 10 games with the Nets after being acquired from Charlotte in January.
