UH-Boise State football game a near sellout

Advertiser Staff

General-public tickets for the University of Hawai'i football game against Boise State Nov. 23 are sold out and fewer than 300 UH student tickets remain.

The game will be televised live on ESPN2. The Friday game kicks off at 4:05 p.m. at 50,000-seat Aloha Stadium.

Students need to purchase their tickets in person with a valid student identification card at any of the following locations: Stan Sheriff Center Box Office (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.), Aloha Stadium Box Office, Rainbowtique at Ward Centre, UH Campus Center and Windward Community College.

"It's fantastic that we'll have a full stadium for this important WAC showdown," said UH athletics director Herman Frazier.

The Warriors, ranked No. 14 in the Bowl Championship Series standings, are 8-0 with four regular-season games remaining on their schedule, three at home.

UH defeated New Mexico State, 50-13, Saturday and doesn't play this week.

Its next game is Nov. 10 against Fresno State at Aloha Stadium.

Fewer than 11,000 general-public tickets remain for the Fresno State game and fewer than 8,000 remain for the Washington game Dec. 1.

Fans can buy tickets online at HawaiiAthletics.com and print them on their home computers. Tickets can also be purchased at the locations listed above.
