HawaiianCruises.com domain sells for almost $39,000

The domain name HawaiianCruises.com attracted an almost $39,000 bid during an auction of Web domains earlier this month, according to a company that ran an online auction of names.Moniker, a Pompano Beach, Florida-based firm, said bidding concluded on Oct. 18 for a number of premium domain names. HawaiianCruises.com's price topped prices paid for PaymentCalculator.com ($35,300) and CertifiedPublicAccountant.com ($32.450).
The top prices paid during the bidding included $370,000 for Cowboys.com and $294,200 for Xmas.com.
