Hawaii QB Brennan up for Davey O'Brien Award again

University of Hawai'i quarterback Colt Brennan was one of 15 players chosen for the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award, announced today in Fort Worth, Texas.
Other semifinalists are Todd Boeckman (Ohio State), Sam Bradford (Oklahoma), Brian Brohm (Louisville), Shaun Carney (Air Force), Rudy Carpenter (Arizona State), Chase Daniel (Missouri), Dennis Dixon (Oregon), Graham Harrell (Texas Tech), Corey Leonard (Arkansas State), Todd Reesing (Kansas), Matt Ryan (Boston College), Tim Tebow (Florida), Pat White (West Virginia) and Andre' Woodson (Kentucky).
Brennan was a finalist for the award in 2006.
The list will be reduced to three finalists on Nov. 18 with all finalists appearing at the awards ceremony Dec. 6 in Orlando, Fla.
Fans are able to vote for semifinalist candidates once daily on The O'Brien's Web site, www.DaveyOBrien.com. The voting will continue throughout the semifinalist and finalist rounds until the winner is announced. Five percent of the final tally comes directly from fan voting.
