LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers announced today that manager Grady Little is leaving the club.

"This was a mutual decision that Ned and I decided is the best direction for the Dodger organization to take," Little said during a conference call announcing his resignation.

Little, 57, managed the Dodgers for two seasons, posting a 170-154 record (.525) during that period, which included a wild card berth in 2006. He has a four-year career managerial record of 358-290 (.552), including two years spent with the Boston Red Sox.

"I want to thank Grady for his two years of dedicated service to the organization," said Colletti. "I have the utmost respect for him and I wish him the best both professionally and personally."
