Kauai County offices to be closed on Labor Day

LIHU'E – In observance of Labor Day, County of Kaua'i offices will be closed Monday along with all refuse transfer stations, the Kekaha Landfill, Puhi Metals Recycling Center and the Lihu'e Hi-5 bottle redemption center located on Niumalu Road at the Garden Isle Disposal facility.Residential refuse pick-up will continue as scheduled. The Kaua'i Bus will be operating on a modified schedule on Labor Day as well as on all other county holidays, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume Tuesday, Sept. 4.
