Boy, 11, arrested in Kalihi beating, robbery of teen

An 11-year-old boy was arrested Friday after he beat and robbed another boy on a downtown playground, police said.Police said the young assailant approached a 15-year-old boy playing in the Beretania Community Park, punched him in the face twice, then demanded his iPod.
When the victim refused, he was punched again and the younger boy reached into his pocket and took the iPod, police said.
The boy was arrested a short time later, police said.
