Big Island police looking for three missing teens

Big Island police are looking for three teenagers reported missing. (The three cases are not thought to be related.)

> Daisha Joao-Schine, 17, was reported as missing from her Hilo home since May 27. She is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-2, about 125 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

> Riva Alves, 16, was reported as missing from her Hilo home since May 18. She is described as Hawaiian, 5-foot-4, about 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

> Angel Vance-Salas, 16, was reported as missing from her Hilo home since July 17. She is described as part Filipino, 5-foot-3, about 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about their whereabouts to call the Police Department's non-emergency telephone number at (808) 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300 in Hilo or (808) 329-8181 in Kona.
