Sept. 13 is the deadline to apply to participate in the Maui County Fair parade to be held Sept. 27.

Forms are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays at the fair office trailer located in the parking lot of the War Memorial Gym. Applications also can be downloaded from www.mauicountyfair.com.

A mandatory meeting for all parade participants will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Cameron Center. Staging area assignments will be made and parade rules reviewed. The meeting is the only time when fair passes will be issued to parade participants.
