'Aloha from Taiwan' exhibit at Honolulu Hale Sept. 18

A collection of original works by Taiwanese and Taiwanese-American artists will be showcased in the Courtyard of Honolulu Hale to share artistic traditions with the people of Hawaii.

Titled "Aloha from Taiwan" this multi-cultural art exhibition will be on display from September 18 to 26.

"Aloha from Taiwan" is presented by the Hawaii Chapter of the Taiwanese Association of America. The Hawaii Chapter of the association was established in 1972 to promote the welfare of overseas Taiwanese residing in Hawaii and to preserve the culture and values of Taiwanese Americans in the islands.

Exhibit viewing is free and open to the public, Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The exhibit is support by the Mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts.
