Warriors move up to No. 20 in AP poll

The University of Hawai'i football team moved up three spots to No. 20 in this week's Associated Press Top 25 poll, released today.

The Warriors (1-0) defeated Northern Colorado 63-6 on Saturday in its opener at Aloha Stadium. Hawai'i plays at Louisiana Tech (1-0) this Saturday.

Also today, Hawai'i moved up two spots to No. 22 in the USA Today Top 25 Coaches Poll.

Hawai'i's highest ranking in the AP poll was No. 18 in 1981. Its highest ranking in the coaches poll was No. 20 in 1993.

Michigan fell out of both polls after being upset by Appalachian State, 34-32, on Saturday.
