NFL: Texan player's house invaded, jewelry stolen

HOUSTON — Police are investigating a weekend break-in at the suburban home of Texans cornerback Dunta Robinson, in which an occupant was bound and jewelry was stolen.The robbery occurred Saturday night when two men got into the house through an unlocked door, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Department. One of the men went into the living room and ordered a person to lie on the ground at gunpoint and then bound that person with duct tape. It is unclear if the victim was Robinson or someone else.
The second man searched the residence while the first man bound the victim.
The suspects, wearing Los Angeles Dodgers baseball caps and red bandanas covering their faces, escaped with several pieces of jewelry.
The home, which is appraised at more than $775,000, is in a Houston subdivision.
NBA players, Antoine Walker and Eddy Curry, experienced similar break-ins.
