Stargaze and learn about a night hunter during free evening programs at the Hosmer Grove campground at Haleakala National Park.

"Hawaiian Navigation" star programs will be held Friday and Sept. 15. On Sept. 22, the topic will be "Owls: Silent Hunters on the Wing."

All three programs will run from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

These special events are in addition to the naturalist programs offered from 9:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily at the summit.

The park entrance fee is $10 per vehicle for a three-day pass, or $25 for an annual pass.
