Surf forecasting guru Pat Caldwell to speak Sept. 20

As part of Chinatown Boardroom's Surf Discussion series, Hawai'i surf forecasting guru Pat Caldwell will speak from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the gallery-cum-surf shop. The event is free.Caldwell will talk about the basics of surf science. The series aims to be a forum for people to meet and discuss surf-related topics in a casual atmosphere.
It runs on Third Thursday, which is increasingly becoming the "serious" counterpart to the First Friday Gallery walk. Third Thursdays is when you'll find artists talks and walk-throughs of exhibitions on view.
