Baseball: Bonds hits 762nd HR in 1st inning

DENVER Barry Bonds hit the 762nd home run of his career with two outs in the first inning today against the Colorado Rockies.The San Francisco Giants slugger hit a 1-2 pitch from right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez to deep left, scoring Nate Schierholtz. It was Bonds' 28th homer of the year.
Jimenez became the 449th different pitcher to allow a home run to Bonds.
He has 54 career home runs against Colorado and three this year against the Rockies.
Bonds hit his record-breaking 756th home run off Mike Bacsik of the Washington Nationals on Aug. 7.
