Costco same-store sales below expectations

Costco Wholesale Corp., the largest operator of warehouse retail stores in Hawai'i reported same-store sales rose 2 percent in August.The chain, which has 512 stores nationwide and in international locations, was below expectations of analysts surveyed by Retail Metrics LLC, according to Bloomberg News. The analysts' had estimated a 5.3 percent gain for Costco.
