Special on artist Peggy Chun to air Sept. 22

"Peggy, With Love," a 30-minute special exploring the tenacity and artistry of painter Peggy Chun, will be shown at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 22 on KHNL-8.Chun, who suffers from ALS, often called Lou Gehrig's Disease, manages to maintain her spirit and energy, producing her art work despite her debilitating disease.
The footage was done by Hawai'i Pacific University media department students under the tutelage of Prof. Jacque Langley.
A roundtable discussion will also be conducted, with Langley, Chun's nurse Cory Lee, Jennie Gamage of St. Francis Hospice and Chun's daughter-in-law Kimi.
Howard Dashefsky, KHNL/K5 anchor, will be moderator.
