3- to 5-foot surf expected along north, south shores

Advertiser Staff

The largest surf of the day will be found along north- and south-facing shores where wave faces in the 3- to 5-foot range are expected, according to the National Weather Service.

Elsewhere, expect waves of 1 foot to 3 feet along west-facing shores and 2 feet to 4 feet along east-facing shores, forecasters said.

Small southwest and southeast swells will maintain small surf along south-facing shores through Friday.

And a series of small, short-period swells from the north will produce small surf along north-facing shores through the weekend.
