Hawaii Theatre opens doors for First Friday

Organ mini concerts, tours and a feature-length compilation of some of the best animation shorts in the world will be featured Sept. 7 when the Hawaii Theatre opens its doors for this month's First Friday in downtown Honolulu.All events are free and begin at 5 p.m. in the historic theater.
The theater's house organists will perform every half hour with the last one scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Tours will be conducted between the concerts.
"The Animation Show 3" screening will begin at 8 p.m.
