Informational forum on Iraq scheduled at UH-Hilo

The Hawai'i Island United Nations Association and the University of Hawai'i at Hilo Student Association will present an informational forum entitled "What is Happening Really in Iraq" at 7 p.m. Thursday at UH Hilo in room UCB 100 (the building on the left as you enter the main entrance).Stafford Clarry will be the primary speaker. Clarry is a native of Hilo who serves as humanitarian affairs adviser to the prime minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
Clarry is visiting his mother who lives in Hilo and will be going back next week to Kurdistan. Previously he was a staff member of the United Nations in Baghdad.
