Tips on how to run a business

Advertiser Staff

Entrepreneurs needing help to start a small business can get tips from Chuck Steilen, dean of business at Hawai'i Pacific University in a two-part program 6-8 p.m. Sept. 11 and 18 at Kahuku library.

Steilen, who sees potential for small businesses to develop on the North Shore, will focus his first lecture on how to improve the distribution of produce or crafts with a well-developed business plan. He will offer tips on how to develop a plan that really works.

The program is free and takes place in the library's Reading Room at 56-490 Kamehameha Highway.

For more information, call the library at 293-8935.
