'Man of La Mancha' men's tryouts Saturday at UH

Director Glenn Cannon is seeking men from the community to audition for Kennedy Theatre's upcoming production of "Man of La Mancha," on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Orvis Auditorium in the Music Building on the UHM campus.These auditions are open to the community due to the unusually large requirements for male cast members. Excellent roles are available for men of varying ages who can sing a little and who move reasonably.
"Man of la Mancha" will be performed at Kennedy Theatre Nov. 9 to 18, with Professor of Music John Mount starring in the lead role. For more information, contact Glenn Cannon at 956-2110 or gcannon@hawaii.edu.
