160 Schofield soldiers to return from Iraq this morning

Nearly 160 Schofield Barracks soldiers were scheduled to arrive home about 5 a.m. this morning after a 15-month deployment to Iraq.The soldiers, members of the 57th MP Company, conducted over 2,500 combat missions in support of th Iraqi National Police and Iraqi Police Station Police Transition Team operations.
The soldiers were charged with overseeing the operations of more than 3,000 Iraqi police officers who provided law enforcement services to a population of 1.5 million people in the Baghdad area.
