Advertiser Staff

Members of Hawai'i's congressional delegation have received notice from Pentagon officials today that the four U.S. Marines and three Task Force Lightning soldiers killed over the past two days in Iraq were not based in Hawai'i.

The Marines were killed today while fighting in Anbar Province.

The soldiers were killed yesterday when a bomb exploded near their vehicle in the northern Ninevah province.

The servicemen have been identified.
