KAPA'A
Repairs close refuse station

Advertiser Staff

The county announced yesterday that the Kapa'a Refuse Transfer Station will be closed from 7:30 to 10 a.m. today for repairs to the facility's hydraulic system.

During this time no trash will be accepted. However, the station will continue to accept used motor oil, appliances, tires and green waste.

Trash will be accepted when the station reopens at 10 a.m. and full operations are expected to resume by 2 p.m., according to the county.

The Kapa'a Refuse Transfer Station's regular hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily, except county holidays.
