Nichiren Mission to launch Dharma Circle on Sept. 12

The Nichiren Mission of Hawaii will start Dharma Circle, a monthly gathering, on 7 p.m. Sept. 12. It is a new initiative by Rev. Shingyo Imai to introduce people to the basics of Buddhism.After the initial meeting, the Dharma Circle will meet the first Wednesday of every month.
Rev. Imai will officiate the chanting in English.
Schedule for Sept. 12 meeting:
7 p.m.: The Lotus Sutra english chanting and shodaigyo
7:20-7:30 p.m. Dharma talk on "Turning bad karmas into good karmas" by Rev. Imai
7:30-8:30 p.m. Dharma Circle, a discussion with coffee or Japanese tea, and cookies
